We are sorry that we didn’t see you in September 2020 but look forward to seeing you in June.

Safety

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all competitors on the water and ashore -out-door social events and a large facility to spread out storage and launching.

Sailing

Much has changed since the last E-Scow National Championship Regatta in September 2019, but what remains the same is the world class sailing environment at LEHYC. Wide open sailing grounds, no powerboat traffic and a reliable sea breeze. - Come and experience a wonderful on-the-water event!

Social

Celebrate the return to championship racing with old friends and meet new ones – We are planning a full regatta calendar of social events while keeping safety as our number one priority.

Mark your calendar for June 11, 12 and 13 and start you planning!

Youth Regatta Participation G R A N T
for skippers under 30 years to help in their regatta participation

The National Class E Scow Association will help offset your expenses to attend a designated regatta. If grant of money will make the difference between not going and participating in one of the following regattas:

Regatta

ILYA Invitational
Western Michigan Invitational
Western Michigan Championship
Eastern Championship
ILYA Championship
National E-Scow Championship

Application Due Date (3 weeks prior to the regatta)

June 18
June 27
July 15
July 9
July 26
Aug 20 (May 20th for 2020 Nationals)

your National E Class wants to help and encourage your participation.

The grant is intended for young skippers under the age of 30, with at least one other crew under 30, that could seriously use some financial help to participate in a regatta this coming season. We have outlined the goals and requirements for the Regatta Participation Grant Fund. Please review the grant details and start the process early so you can meet the deadline.

The grant application needs to be submitted by the due date specified above for the regatta you are applying for. Please complete an application below:

National Class E Scow Association
The National Class E-Scow Association (NCESA) was founded in 1959 to promote the sport of E-Scow Racing. It exists to serve all regions of the country where E-Scow Sailing is pursued.
There are four types of membership in the NCESA: Boat Owner - Regular - Associate - Centennial
The NCESA is supported through membership dues, we are 501c3 non-profit organization, and donations are tax deductible.
Class E Scantling Rules are determined by Boat Owner members, and require a vote.
