June 2025 Update

Autumn Hoover | Published on 6/3/2025

Dear NCESA Members,

Happy summer! At least, in terms of the weather finally warming up across most of the country. We saw three successful regattas last month. Great times were had at the NLYC Preseason E Scow Regatta, the Geneva Spring Regatta (Regatta Report), and the Lake Hopatcong Spring Regatta.

We're kicking off the season strong with four regattas scheduled for June:

- June 7 Toms River Yacht Club Tune Up: an excellent practice opportunity for those preparing for Easterns or Nationals.

- June 7-8 Wawasee Yacht Club E Scow Open: with nearly 30 boats already registered at the time of writing!

- June 21-22 Pine / Pewaukee Regatta: hosted on Pine Lake by Pine Lake Yacht Club and Pewaukee Yacht Club.

- June 21-22 NY State Championship, Leg 1: at Chautauqua Lake Yacht Club.

As always, be sure to check out the Regatta Grid for NORs, registration details, results, reports, and regatta photos.

In case you missed it, the full two-part 2025 Rules Webinar with Dave Perry has been uploaded to the NCESA website, an excellent resource for anyone who couldn’t catch it live! You do have to be logged in to view this page.

Looking for apparel to outfit your crew this season? Need a new E Class burgee? Check out the E Scow Storefront.

Please remember to send us your NORs for regional events (NCESA@e-scow.org) so they can be listed on the regatta grid and tag us on any Instagram (@e_scow) posts so that we can support your event! If you do not see your favorite event on the regatta grid, we have not received your NOR.

Best,

Autumn Hoover
