Digital Reaches - January 6th

Published on 1/6/2016

I hope everyone is looking forward to a great new year of E-Scow sailing. One way to start the new year off is to take a road trip to Strictly Sail in Chicago. See what's new and start thinking about what will make the new year better than the last. While you are at it, make sure to stop by the Melges booth to say hello.

Sam Rogers at the helm

Mark your Calendar!

While I have you thinking about the 2016 season, make sure you put a priority on attending the National Championship Regatta which will be hosted by the Minnetonka Yacht Club the weekend after Labor Day. Sam Rogers is the regatta chairperson and he has already been busy planning for the event. This is going to be another huge fun event that Minnetonka is famous for.

Who's going to be hot in 2016?

The National Rankings were really close last year. Here are the top 25.
Don't see your name,  Take a look at the entire rankings. The link includes all the details for each regatta.

Then there are those that just can't seem to get enough of a good thing - check out the Road Warrior Rankings for last year. Again, the link includes all the details for each regatta.  I'll admit that 2015 might have been a bit much even for me - but I have already marked my calendar and am looking forward to attending these four fun events: Wawasee Spring regatta, the ILYA Invite on my home lake (Mendota),  the new WMYA Invite at Charlevoix, and of course the National Champs at Minnetonka. [note to the H-7 Crew - better mark your calendars too.]
