The 2008 Easter E-Scow Regatta is going to be a big year. I think a lot of people are coming to get a jump on the practice with ASYM. There will be practice and an informal race on Thursday, March 20. The first race is on Friday morning @ 1100 and usually we can get about three a day in. Same with Saturday. There will be a big dinner Friday night and a party at our friend Sonny’s house just down from the club on Saturday evening for awards. Lots of continental breakfast is out every morning with coffee and stuff. Lots of beer and stuff in the afternoons. I expect close to 30 boats. There are lots of hotels, motels, b7b’s in Charleston. Some more expensive than others and some close to the club. I have attached a list. Book early!!

Three or four boats from New Jersey are going to be staying
at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina which is on the water across, from the
club, about two miles away by water or about a 15 minute drive over the new
bridge.
They are going to give us about a 15% to 20% discount and it
is a nice place to stay.
If any E sailors want to stay there they should identify
themselves as part of the Carolina Yacht Club Easter sailing group and talk to
